Marina di Campo beachThe beach stretches for about 1,5 km, from the older part of the town with its touristic port to the other side of the gulf. A pleasant sea front promenade and a verdant pine wood skirt this golden sandy beach, which is characterized by shallow waters, making it ideal for children and families. From there you can easily reach and take advantage of many facilities: bathing establishments with deckchairs and beach umbrellas, restaurants, snack bars, windsurf, sailing.
The Beachs
This south coast side is called "Costa del sole". It is quite a wild area, characterized by a succession of beaches beneath high granitic cliffs, with beautiful blue and transparent waters that often can recall Caribbean pictures.

Cavoli beachCavoli beach is considered the "trendy beach of Elba". This beautiful spot is only 4,5 km away from Marina di Campo, on the south coast. Ages ago this site was supposed to be used as a port where the granit artefacts were loaded on commercial boats. Nowadays remains of ancient columns and labour relics can still be seen through the vegetation on the upper hill. The lucky exposition of this area gives a better chance for longer summer seasons so that in October you can still enjoy the beach. Like most of the beaches on this side of the island it offers many facilities. Not far from the beach you can also find an interesting cave, "La grotta azzurra", which is easy to reach with canoes or pedal boats.
Seccheto beachNear Cavoli there is Seccheto, a small village with its own little but marvellous and peaceful beach. It is formed by granitic sand and faces wonderful blue and crystalline waters, ideal destination for snorkellers or whoever is looking for relax. The beach is reachable trough some short streets (30 metres long) that slope down from the upper village. Not far away the beach you can meet a rocky cliff, called "Le piscine" (the pools) ideal to lay and tan under the sun in what is considered a natural oasis.
Fetovaia beachThe road that leaves Marina di Campo, after passing through Cavoli and Seccheto, slowly climbs the granitic cliffs reaching at last Fetovaia. From the top you can admire a wonderful bay, which seems to be suspended between the blue and crystal water and the green vegetation surrounding it. Its uncontaminated bay, the granitic sand and the green curved line of vegetation around it makes Fetovaia one of the "top beaches" of the island. A relaxing and sheltered oasis with shallow waters even further away the shore, served by deckchairs and umbrellas, surf schools, boat rentals, mooring areas, a near car park, as well as other facilities such as bars and restaurants.
Sant'Andrea beachSurrounded by granite, will leave you speechless. Although the beach is quite small (only about 150 metres long and 10 metres at its widest point) it is very nice, since it is made up of light grey, granite sand and the sea is turquoise and crystal clear. In the past, the beautiful beach of Sant' Andrea was where the ships from the mainland came in to be loaded with the wine that was produced from the grapes that grew on the numerous terracings in the surrounding area. What remains of the pier can still be seen on the western side of the beach.
